Switching hard drive.

So, I've got a new WD Caviar Black arriving tomorrow which will become my main HDD until I've saved enough for an SSD. The thing is I've only recently reinstalled Windows on my current hard drive so I don't want to go through all the rigmarole of installing Windows and getting it all "just so".

Can I just mirror my current drive onto the new drive with no issues? Or will I just have to bite the bullet and install again...again?

Depending on the version of windows you have, you can just use Windows Backup Utility to create an image. You can then restore from the install disk back to your new drive.

Help! This isn't working. It keeps saying there is not enough space to create the shadow disc image. There is nothing on the new drive and both my old drive and the system partition have more than enough space. Gah!

This is the error.
