It will be fine if you stick with your gtx 460.
One last thing. Stick an aftermarket cooler on the i5. One of these will do the job nicely;

Be careful if you order ram with big heat spreaders though, as the above big coolers can often encroach on the first ram slot.
Otherwise, with one of these you can use any comedy sized heat spreader on you ram that you wish;

The best I can see for small size heatsinks here on the OCUK website is this;

It's not on the list of tested sets on the MSI website;

but that's not to say that it isn't compatible.

Compatible with what? The MB?
Yes. It's not on the tested list, but that's not to say that the ram wont be stable with the motherboard.
Otherwise, the best tested compatible ram for the cash on ocuk is the corsair vengeance with the comedy heat spreaders;

Looks like a comb
So you reckon I should just try the first RAM?
I hadn't thought of that, and I have two...
I've often used memory that wasn't on the tested list of a mobo manufacturer, without ill effect.... You could take a chance.![]()
The vengeance is good ram, in my opinion. But, I don't know if it will clash with a gelid or 212 if they are mounted with this board...Anyone else here tried them together?..
