I'm being properly dim here.

I'm sure I used to be able to connect to networked drives/PC's from within Synology DSM, so if I wanted to copy something, to say a drive connected to a WD TV Live, I could do it from within DSM.

I've updated to DSM 5, and either I need to tick something to show up the drives, or I imagined I could do it in previous version?

I've been searching, but I can't think of the wording to use, so the results aren't what I want.

You can map network drives, I've done it before in a synology.

Don't know the process off by heart, but it wasn't difficult, Google it, very logical steps. I just found it in the gui somewhere

I had this problem too, you need too:

Load up file station, then click on settings and the options are in there, then you can mount the shared folder from the tools drop down menu.
