Would you support a military strike on Syria without a UN Security Council resolution?

I would guess that a website run by Alex 'Conspiracy Crazy Man' Jones is not a good source of information.

I'd normally agree, the man's a shouting yank, but the page is merely links to more reputable sources and almost certainly what happened in this case.

Haha people don't believe that Assad would use chemical weapons despite evidence to the contrary - yet people are willing to believe some completely ridiculous CT article about rebels inadvertently distributing them over a large residential area because they didn't read the label. :D:D:D

Haha you believe that about your fellow board members despite all evidence to the contrary, why do you believe the evidence free assertions of the war mongers, desperate to see mil kit on TV?:D:D:D

Firstly looking at all pic of small babies who just came to this world.. I really feel as a human being we need to respect other humans and stop this killing. was really sad to read and watch scary videos.

I honestly don't know what or who to believe these days. I see Obama and Cameron talking about "evidence" and wonder if they are actually as gullible as Blair and Bush

If only there was a prime target for faked evidence, ie governments.

Western governments are the most corrupt and pose most danger to the whole world, but all Joe Public sees is a heavily educated puppet with a pen and a signature and that makes it all right.

People need to realise humanity has the same corruptions world over, whether we're holding pens or AK-47s.

CNN Caught Staging News Segments on Syria With Actors

The primary “witness” that the mainstream media is using as a source in Syria has been caught staging fake news segments. Recent video evidence proves that “Syria Danny”, the supposed activist who has been begging for military intervention on CNN, is really just a paid actor and a liar.

While Assad is definitely a tyrant like any head of state, a US invasion of the country is a worst case scenario for the people living there.

By pointing out that the mainstream media is orchestrating their entire coverage of this incident, we are not denying that there is a tremendous amount of death and violence in Syria right now. However, we are showing that the mainstream media version of events is scripted and staged propaganda.

The following video shows him contradicting himself while off air, and even asking crew members to “get the gunfire sounds ready” for his video conference with Anderson Cooper on CNN.

I can not believe people still believe CNN is a reliable news corporation.

This to me just proves how desperate the US is at wanting a war in Syria.

or hes quite smart. doing it early means he can apease the pro war people and look like he wants to intervene to save them but his hands are tied by labor. this means he gets the good side of seeming to care/appear strong but none of the hassle and massive loss of public opinion of actually having to go to war

I didn't say what you are quoting me as saying... :D

Think Iraq!

We have been fighting in Iraq since before many of you board members were even born!

It has cost the lives of millions of people and had blighted the lives of many millions more!

What have we achieved??

Is the region more politically stable?
Is Oil cheaper/more available?
Are the people better off?
Are they grateful?

Quite frankly It would have been better all round if we had let Hussain keep Kuwait as a "Fait Accompli" in the first place!

Why should sticking our oar in Syria have any different an outcome!

Added to which it has cost (collectively) over a TRILLION DOLLARS!

If we had spent a fraction of this on Fusion development instead we wouldn't even need the oil any more by now!

If Blair was in charge still, I wonder how many of those people who voted against for labour would have voted for military action... can't prove it, but I bet most of them voted for their leader, and not their better judgement, otherwise a lot more would have voted against it.

Also Cameron is daft, he should have waited a few more days, until their was more conclusive evidence, it may of made the difference.

Have to laugh at Labour, obvious publicity stunt is obvious. I would still never even considering a vote for them, the state they have left the country in is just unforgivable, Milliband has to be the most unlikable person I have ever seen.

Can please you show me the evidence that Assad carried out the attack? And I don't mean hearsay by politicians/western media pundits in the pockets of the military industrial complex and have a vested interest in war. I mean evidence that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that Assad is responsible, you know like the sort of evidence you'd have to produce in a court case. After all our politicians are trying to take us into another war.

This, I remembers being called a liberal for war on a forum before we attacked Afghanistan because I believed it would lead to better things for the poor benighted Afghans, I was a young father at the time and believed bliars bs , never again:mad:

Our politicians are bought and blackmailed psychopaths, that's why they were allowed to get where they are today, compromised murderers.

The conspiracy goes that Saudi are heavily funding Islamic rebels in Syria. Russia laughed at their offer for an oil partnership, and their threats against Russia http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...Russia-secret-oil-deal-if-it-drops-Syria.html
Saudi are scared that once Assad wins - and he is winning -what will he do next? Will he try to take measures against Saudi for funding the rebels?
So then Saudi told the rebels they control to gas a bunch of people, and everyone blames Assad.

As conspiracies go, this one sounds pretty believable.
