Hi all, I'm looking to build a rig using the Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+

Any advice on what components to use with it please?

A Motherboard, RAM, GPU, PSU, HDD & Case normally does the Job.

No seriuosly, What kinda budget do you have in mind and what will you use your computer for etc.

only if yourr overclocking there faster iirc

£ for £ stock amd are faster

edit: what do you need in you £400

Gonna go AMD but would like to know which memory, mobo, PSU etc would be better with this CPU.

I'm using a P4 3.0 ATM and its getting a little slow.

can u salvage anything from your build like hdd's case, psu, optical drive

if you dont mind overclocking you are far better with intel tho m8

My current rig is a Dell (I know, I know!!)

Its BTX format by the way.

I can reuse the GFX, HD & Opticals but that about it i would imagine.
