Recently just built a new PC, I have two HDs inside, x1 SSD 250G x1 1TB & x1 2TB. When the computer loaded it is showing my SSD and my 1 TB but not my 2TB, instead I have two drives with 'System Reserved'.

Here is a Screenshot so you can understand more:

I know everything is connected because I went to 'Manage' via 'My Computer' and it's showing the HD:

Anyone encountered this before and know how to fix it?

Thanks chaps :)

Disconnect the 2TB drive and make sure the system still boots properly.

If it does you can safely delete the system reserved partition on it and then right click on the unallocated space to format the drive and assign a drive letter.

Sorry, you've lost me.

You should only have one system reserved partition so hopefully it's the one on the SSD that's in use.

If you physically disconnect the 2TB disk and the system still boots OK that it's confirmed.

You can then reconnect the 2TB disk and right click on the system reserved partition and delete it.

The whole 2TB drive will then be "unallocated". Right click on that and you can then format and assign a drive letter.

Does it boot up ok if you disconnect the two hard drives?

-If it does, you can remove these partitions as they're from old Windows installs on the HDDs.

When installing Windows, best to do it with only your boot drive connected.
