still trying to get to grips with my ocz 60gb ssd drive vertex 11 ,with regards to space saving im trying all sorts off things ,mostly done by googling advice even down loaded a ssd tweeker from the ocz site although it costs a few quid ,just gives the safe option of turning thing on /off as you require ive done the ahci thing in the bios ,even down loaded a restart timmer to see how quick it restarts i did get about 65 seconds , i also started to alter the pageing files sizes although not sure if this good if you have not got to much ram installed ive only got 6gb ,also tried remmoving unwanted programs im sure ill find a few more ,just wondering if its safe to turn off the system restore ?this gives me about 15-16gb back ,ive brought an external drive all be it a cheap one from the supermarket 1tb hitachi simple for back ups ,some one on the the ocz forum said always back up so i have.also installed all me other programs on the other drive internal 1tb. also done the hibernation off although this is given as an option in the ssd tweeker ?well ive got about 15gb left with the system restore on is this a safe amount to keep my system stable .?
