System Shock Remake!!!!!!!11111one

This remains one of my favourite games of all time. Like many though, years & years of advancement in both graphics and UI's left me frustrated when trying to replay this classic.

Having seen that alpha footage, I cannot wait!!!

Ahhh SS2 - the mother of Deus Ex and Bioshock in all it's FPSey/RPGey glory! Also one of the hardest and scariest FPS games you can play.

I am up for this!! Bring it on Shodan!

Yeah played it yesterday. It's just a flavour really and rough around the edges but what is clear is that they are truly staying in tune with the design and ambience of the original franchise.

So far as I can see there will be no 'Bioshockification' - it's a true remake and, whilst it is still VERY early, the sound in particular (and lack thereof btw) is very SS.

In my view it's a team that truly understands that, when it comes to these games, Silence can be as effective as a great sound track.
