In my opinion is was better, better story, better graphics, better music, better gameplay, and I loved the original game at the time
SS2 was cutting edge in 1999

No the graphics were just the same, very angular, graphics from the Thief Dark Engine but it's weird - i actually went back to them after upgrading the graphics with the Rebirth Mod. they were worse but it wasn't the same.
