or this?

the first image, with the pipes coming from the rad from the bottom.

Funnily enough corsair replied with "some people have the pipes at the bottom" which is how i already have it and how the corsair people show on there installation video.

The other thing i found weird was the screws they provide actually screw through the fans into the rad and into the grill of the rad, i would have thought they would only be long enough to enter the rad housing as oppose into the grill aswell.

and these images have some searious/beautiful cable management.

Looks nothing like mine ;-)

ok so sound still there, like a faint rattling (faint as in i cant hear it unless i put my head under the desk or next to the case.

Anyways machine been running for a few hours now doing various updates and installs, browsing etc.

CPU temps are staying anywhere from 20 to 25 ish
Mobo temps are anywhere from 18 to 25 ish

I have the corsair pump plugged into the molex and the 3 pin (one wire) from the pump connector in my CPU fan header.

I have the pump set to lowest profile (quiet), but my fan speeds for that header say 2100-2200 RPM constant though not paticularly noisy.

is this an aggregate of the 2 fans attached to the radiator ?

as in the profile mentioned here http://www.corsair.com/blog/underst...es-h80-and-h100-cooling-performance-profiles/

says the quiet profile is RPM of 900 to 1300, my fan speed being 2000+ is in the performance profile measurement.

My side fan is plugged direct into PSU as cant reach the header on board.

My top exhaust fan is connected to CPU opt header and RPM at 1100 give or take
My front intake fan is connected to PWR fan 1 header and at about 100 give or take

is this all sound normal ?

The main question is the speed report of the CPU fan as it seems to exceed profile, even though they get louder when i turn the profile up

so my system has been up and running for little over a week now, and apart from the corsair pump noise everything has been great, got a RMA for my pump which i am sending back tomorrow so thats good.

Anyways so today i was playing SWTOR, on my other monitor i was monitoring the temperature of cpu, mobo and running asus doctor to monitor the ASUS gtx 580 card, all seemed good.

Cpu was at about 40 and mobo about 38, card was going upto 65 or so.

Then suddenly system hung, complete stand still, rebooted and went to windows recovery, tried to recover and no go.

so i tried to boot to my other disk which is linux, booted ok but as soon as X started it crashed and the display was screwed (psychedelic colors)

I thought it was monitor so i tried only one and then each one, i tried each DVI port on the card but both the same.

I cant boot into bios (efi) as i only see the top left part of what would be the bios screen enlarged on my whole screen.

I cant change to onboard grfx either as i have it set in bios to use the PCI graphics.

Does this sound like a screwed grfx card ?

It has power (led is on) and fans are on, not hot to touch, but as described above ?

any input appreciated cheers

ok so an update.

I took the GTX 580 out, i reset the CMOS so that the onboard grfx would be enabled.

Hooked up, and worked fine, BIOS was ok, booted into windows and into linux all fine (apart from lack of dual monitor support of course.

so at least i know the monitors, motherboard, etc etc are all ok.

Stuck gtx 580 back in, tried again and same thing, windows wont boot at all aprt from trying to recover, Linux boots but to psychadelic colours and EFi BIOS is unusable.

So i guess i need to RMA the god damn graphics card tomorrow as well.

Not having much luck with this hardware
