T-Mobile / Orange Network share just enabled

I get a great signal with T-Mobile anyway, but does this mean I can get Orange Wednesdays? Won't bother if not tbh.

No, Orange and T-Mobile are separate retail brands owned by completely separate companies, think of them as virtual operators like Tesco or Virgin. That's what they are, getting their air time from Everything Everywhere.

Let me know how it goes mate, this stuff is frustrating! I want lots of signal! lols

Just to update you, I've managed to figure it out. When trying to reply YES on our Galaxy S phones it tries to send the message to Thanks, instead of the appropriate number.

If you send the YES message to 2121 you will receive a message back to let you know they'll be in touch soon etc.

Well my iphone4 which is unlocked and on the tmobile network works on Orange...saw it flip over to Orange earlier tonight when i was in Lakeside shopping centre...didnt have to switch roaming on or anything...just automatically did it...

But on my Blackberry i havent seen it switch over although i did get the text and replied yes to it...probably because my BB is so damn good at keeping a constant 3G signal that it wont flip over to Orange:p.

Wicked, nice one mate i owe you.

Got the message and i await the change!

Do i go and tick the box for "Data Roaming" once i receive it?

Signed up as a T-Mob customer.... Had to enable roaming to get on the data side of the network. Must be sure to disable data roaming if I go abroad to stop the charges mounting up when it connects to the foreign network....
I wouldn't worry. I roam quite a lot, and every time I arrive I have no Internet until I agree via text or browser to pay!

just picked up t mobile then lost it...

Shame as orange and t mobile here are both not in 3g neither are voda

3 was the best network i had for internet coverage

Could it be my orange sim is a old one? Doesnt even seem to receive 3g lol#!:D

I've gone through the text replying thing (am on orange) and have received the confirmation text saying I'm good to go but when I try to connect to Orange T-Mobile it says my sim doesn't support this network. Grrr

The option just changed for me today, when I go looking for other networks instead of seeing "orange" it says T-mobile orange and I now get the message saying my sim does not support the network... They've changed something ><
