I swear I've got like 6 or 9 greys in the TTC sets. One of the tridents with rodent fur in it or whatever it's called.

Yup there’s a few I want to try.

I’m trying to break the mental problem I have with regards to painting. Just because I’m not happy with a few aspects of my BT’s like the reds I used for the gun or the edge highlight colours doesn’t mean the model get dunked into IPA

It’s ok for them not to totally match and be perfect. Got the main armour colour down so that’s the main thing.

I’m getting there!!

Btw. I only just found out why Pro acryl bottles are designed the way they are and now I don't hate them as much

Do tell. I’m finding them a strange range.

Not very consistent on coverage but excellent paint all the same. TTC and new model/game color line better in that regard.

Well I forgot now haven't I. It was something and this was actually from the manufacturer. Like you're supposed to leave them open after you squeeze them out for a bit. So when you close the lid you get that little bit of dry paint that you can knock off the top.
This is the preferable to things like TTC where paint can completely get stuck in the lid.

I noticed Elminiaturista uses PA exclusively.

Absolutely. Hes an absolute beast.

People are looking at him wrong in a 1v1 vs XYZ mega bruiser, that isnt his role, he is a fast moving infantry murder machine.

Right. I was looking at him in various detachments wondering what the issue was. Decided I must be misunderstanding something fundamental about why people were dismissing him.

TTC Spartan Bronze is an awesome colour. Looks like a more older gold.

It's a match for Balthazar Gold I think.

Speaking of paint AK is coming out with contrast paint!!

Kinda like the gimmick that they have 3 levels of coverage.

That's kind of like using the heavier pigment contrasts like blood angels red Vs a red ink.

First attempt at dark skin. Pleased how it’s turned out and got me a little bit excited to paint my Dark Oath Savagers. Also need some practice for all the bare Space Wolve heads that I’m going to have to paint!

Ruinator ordered, will have to watch videos on magnetising the whole thing to build the other variants.

Annoyingly I had no pile of shame in terms of assembling and now I've got eight war dogs and a big Knight to build at some point. Well not eight because I don't need that many but I have so much stuff like I've made progress on and then I just pause for ages, it's like my brain goes well, you could play those on the table top and be happy they're not just primed so you know.

My Space wolves turned up and caught me with BT’s on my desk it’s as well as they are on a campaign together in Armageddon or I would have some explaining to do!!

Really pleased how these are turning out also haven’t got a clue if I’m using the AK liquid pigments correctly but it’s so quick and simple with the AK wargame terrain to get nice bases!!
