Tabula Rasa

Thanks mate, if no-one else hooks me up that would be great. Don't think theres a key, you just go to your playNC acc. and theres a link in the Tabula Rasa section.
 
Got it today and really didn't like it at all. I know it sounds silly but my main stumbling block was that no matter what I did I couldn't get fsaa working (turning it on in the menus did nothing, forcing it in nhancer got me nowhere either).
A lack of fsaa in fast paced fps games never bothers me too much but in an mmo it drives me mad :)
 
To my great surprise, I'm completely hooked. Never got to play the beta, but I'm not running into any of the issues people were complaining about. I have a suspicion it might get a bit samey once you hit the high levels, but at the moment it's really atmospheric and fun to play. Some real jaw dropping moments too when you see a base attack start up or when three or four bane dropships suddenly land around you. Some cool storylines too, very well written.

Time will tell, I 'spose :)
 
Did you have any luck getting fsaa working sleepery or was it just me?

EDIT - got it sorted now, you have to turn off deferred lighting then delete tabula rasa from program settings in the nvidia control panel before readding it yourself otherwise it'll ignore the game profile. Then just force fsaa from your newly created profile.

Nice one! I never spent too much time on it, at 1680 x 1050 I've never noticed enough to be bothered, but I'll give that a go.
 
Trying to get this started today, the random name generator is great, never giving you an original one!

Ive been stuck on the "sending character information" screen for 5 minutes, not the best of starts.
 
Im slowly starting to think this is a joke, took 5 mins to wait for the server to say my character had been setup, now ive been waiting 3 or 4 minutes to enter the battle.

Is it like this all the time?

Edit: Seemed my firewall was slowing things down, all seems to be running okay now, looks promising so far!

I have a load of buddy keys given out that expire on the 5th of March, hopefully I'l be able to send out some then.

Can't understand mmo companies who don't have open free trials :mad:
 
Cheers Sleep, i've been itching to try this. It does seem strange that they dont offer a free trial. I've never been in to these games until a played the Guildwars 10hrs trial when it came out. Finished it in one sitting then bought the game. Same with wow

Funny enough, a load of my clan got into the beta, and dropped it like a shot, none of them liked it at all. I only got it 3 weeks after it went live, and was instantly hooked. I've been slowly convincing people to give it another go - it's really polished at this stage, I love it.
