Theres a bloke where I work called Malcolm who's got one.
He found her online about 10 years ago, imported her over, married her and has a 9 year old child.
I've seen him out twice having a meal at a chinese restaurant and both times it looks as though all her family are there.
Ting Tong anyone?

Another muso mate of mine had a bad time with his 1st wife, went online about 5 years ago and he met a Thai bride.
Its quite funny because his kids are about 10 & 8 and this woman is smaller than them.

An ex workmate met a Chinese woman online and he came in 4 weeks ago to tell us he'd left his wife and he was going to live in China with this woman:eek:

I also know a woman who got that fed up with lyin',cheatin' british blokes that she went online and met her Polish husband. This was way before they started to come here in packs.

Maybe word got around - and here we are today.

So not only are they nicking our jobs, they're nicking our women too :p

Now I don't know sam83uk bar reading a few of his posts, but I feel compelled to say I believe one of the following is going on:

a) Somebody has hijacked his account for whatever reason and is trying to bring down his rep across the internet community (starting with OcUK) but with maximum subtlety (and if so he's succeeding quite a lot)
b) He might actually be 24 years old (hence '83'), and all these posts by him are part of some kind of university social experiment, gauging how OcUKers react to these ironically funny posts (perhaps "irony" isn't the correct word, but hopefully you get what I mean)
c) A genuine attention-whore trying to claw his way to fame in any way possible; following the "there is no such thing as bad publicity" principle.
d) I've been watching too much 24

I say this only now since starting a "Thai Brides" thread is only BLATANTLY asking for trouble. And is 100% deliberately so.
