Take a look at my new mods

They look great

Definately needs lowering though, here, I hit it with my lowering stick:

I like it when lowered!

I also flipping heck love that boost gauge, so much nicer than anything else after market that I've ever seen! Good work that man! If only I hadn't discovered motorcycles!

Am I alone in preferring it as it is to how it looks in the photoshop? Uneven wheel gaps always bother me for some reason, tyres are round, arches are round, they look best when the curves match up IMO.

When it comes to me lowering the car I am not planning on slamming it but just a drop of around 30mm so the gap is smaller. I know what you mean about the wheels matching to the curves of the arch and that is what I plan on doing.

Just a little update.

I ordered some red 5-way LEDs for my dials and they arrived today. The old bulbs emitted a white light but I wanted red ones to go with my boost gauge and it looks a lot better. I am going to take the boost gauge out tomorrow and tape up the sides so that the electronics inside aren't illuminated like in the picture and I will also wire up the dimmer so that its the same brightness as the dials.

looks good, very similar to mine except for the silver lip on the wheels and ride height

i've got a similar boost guage aswell, paul port on IMOC used to make them a few years back :)

Just thought that I'd update this age old thread. There's no new mods but I polished the car back to full redness this weekend and thought that I'd take some pictures on my DSLR.

That looks awesome now. I've not seen the thread before, and thought in the OP that it needed a good polish/detail. Look awesome now. Still needs lowering though ;)

Very nice wheels, but the boost gauge sucks as does any digital readout of a parameter that is constantly and rapidly changing. That said the original gauge is as much use as a chocolate teapot, and unless you want silly pods hanging off the A pillar then choices are a bit limited.

Thanks guys :D

Just when I think that I'm getting bored of the car all I need to do is give it a good polish and I'm in love again! Although, my time with her may be limited as I think I'm going to have to sell up if I get accepted for university :(

I don't really understand what you mean by that? Surely an analogue boost gauge will be changing the readout at the same rate?

dartmoor? nice :)

Yeah, Burrator reservoir to be precise ;)
