Takeaway pizza

I so want pizza now :(

Learn to make your own, it's incredibly simple and it means (as long as you have the ingredients, which I always make sure I do) you can make pizza whenever you want. I put down my recipee in a thread back in may:

since then I've changed my recipee slightly, no longer add oil to the water/sugar/yeast mix, use about 1/3 tomato puree to 2/3 pasatta (rather than using chopped tomatoes and reducing, took too long) and instead of a grated mozarella I use a small amount of monterey jack followed by a mozaralla ball that I've cubed. Finally I now cook at the max my oven can go to (230deg c) and don't pre-bake the bases.

Total cost for making your own is considerably < £1.50 per pizza (and around 20-30 minutes of your time, but I enjoy spending that time as it's some relaxing "down time" and I watch some iPlayer or 4OD on my laptop whilst preparing the meal).

I could never justify spending so much on a pizza when you can get a 14" meat feast for £3 from Asda. If you don't think they taste as nice as takeaway pizzas then just poor a **** load of fat on top :)

At my local takeaway, you can get a 7" pizza for £1!! Any topping you want! There actually quite nice pizza's too!
