Its still no excuse, who's in charge of the car he drives? Him or the guys behind? Try that for a defence then, "Sorry M'lord I did not mean to kill cute kittens and small children but the guy behind me made me drive faster!"

If he's in a bad mood he should pullover and calm down. Maybe ask for some directions?

And its also easy to do 30 in a 30, Lift the right foot up! Maybe even gently press the middle pedal!

Flame ahead but you have no defence for speeding in a 30 then complaining about it after when you get done! After all most opf us can drive, pay attetnion to where we are going even if we dont know the road.

Oh well, shame everyone can't be perfect like you, I've noticed since you've started posting here you're pretty much just preaching to everyone in motors at every oppurtunity.

No far from perfect, but still theres no excuse for your mate.

Or do you just like the posts that offer tea and sympathy? If I offer a veiw point based on experiance and the law etc why would that be preaching?

What makes my posts any less valid than yours? Oh and Ive been around a while I just dont often get the time to post.

Also, head + Brick wall = Pointless usually

Why would I want tea and sympathy when I'm just asking on behalf of someone?

Doesn't make any difference to me, I'd just rather have advice relevant to the situation instead of mr perfect ADI preaching like you do at every oppurtunity.

I asked what is the procedure when someone takes another persons fine.

You come in the thread "Hi2u I'm an ADI if you hadn't noticed, lolz!", I've noticed you say you're an ADI in nearly every thread you preach, sorry, post in, then you just basically insult them instead of offering relevant advice.

He's on 9 points, not 12, and is already leaving his job, so no, I wouldn't say that was a relevant piece of advice, he's the last person you need to preach to about driving.

I mentioned ADI in this case as people who need there license, like me, for there living should take more care of it. I did not tell you how he should drive, then you start some lame excuse for him about being forced to speed etc.

Still whatever, you do/think what you like, your mates proobably screwed and if he gets caught perverting the course of justice will really help him and his future employment prospects wont it?

Alternatively if he tries to plead his case and show remorse then he has a chance. Courts usually try not to punish dependants of drivers for these sort if things if the attitiude and approach is right.

He could even go as far as to admit he was not driving as well as he could due to stress at work, family problems, phase of the moon etc and take some driver training to help raise the standard of his driving. The court might just see that as a responsible approach to rectifying his obviously habitual speed issue and be lenient.

Or is that preaching as well?

I'm quite chilled, I can assure you I am not having a go at anyone. Just putting my thoughts forward. If it comes across that way its not intentional at all. Certainly its not Mr Whites fault anyway.
 
it's all pretty academic anyway as even if drivers like this manage to offload the points onto someone else...it won't be long before they're facing another three.

if it's 32 years of driving nowhere else but around the same town then it counts for nothing.
i've driven the UK from top to bottom and at no point have i ever been unsure what the speed limit was on any given road whether i'd driven on it before or not.
now i've chosen to ignore it on occasion and i've been endorsed for it before too, but the "i didn't know what the limit was so it's not my fault" line just doesn't wash with me i'm afraid.

Most of it spent covering the UK and europe, you shouldn't always jump to conclusions ;)
