Taking franchised dealer to small claims

Do bear in mind though that even when you get the judgement they don't necessarily pay up. I have a CCJ against the operators of the store that funds these very forums, but they didn't pay up.

Thats why when I get judgment I pass it straight up to the high court. Those guys don't mess about

Well I got a phone call from the dealer principals PR woman and they have offered me £200 below the price I asked them to buy back the vehicle for, so that's a result and I accepted their offer...

They can give me a cheque or a direct bank transfer for the amount and I asked for the bank transfer thinking it will be quicker and less hassle. Nothing dodgy about them offering a bank transfer is there?

A new clutch at 17k miles :eek:My first car was a Focus with 110k miles that had such a hard life and that was still on its original clutch when it sold. That list of things that have gone wrong is shocking!
Vauxhall's are utter trash I don't get why people still buy them and to think the heap of crap Corsa has been the 2nd best selling car for the last few years :(

Well colour me surprised! :p

Definitely sounds like the usual EH sack of crap.

Best of luck OP!

That's because they are the same! I purchased my Fiesta St from EH (complete with issues!) and was emailing to a Pendragon email address. I am never ever buying anything from them ever again.

A hard life whilst not having your foot on the clutch.
or
A hard life sat on a hill doing the worlds slowest hill start whilst ignoring the smell and smoke coming from the gearbox area

A clutch can be killed within minutes of driving off the forecourt
