I don't tend to do it, find it a bit odd, but some people like doing it. I seem to remember someone on here getting a right roasting for doing it a few years ago

In fact I'd say the opposite. In my experience it's the chavs that generally don't care what people think, and act accordingly.

The GM of Next (Chicago) was saying on twitter that they might refer to table x "on a safari"![]()
What about having photos taken of yourselves in the restaurant?
If people stare I just tell them I'm from the Food Standards Agency and am investigating issues raised in the coroner's report.
