Taking the dashboard button out of 360 pad

why would you need to do that?
would lose a lot of accessibility by doing that such as turning the console on and off, in fact dont think you could turn the pad on without it

Why don't you tell them if they change the language they can't use it....

Sounds like they are too young to be using an xbox to be honest!

The best alternative is to simply ban them from playing it for a week every time they change the language to Esperanto. The dashboard button is needed to use the 360 properly tbh, especially if they can't reach it to turn it on etc.

Isn't this what the Parental Controls are for? To create a gamertag that can only access certain features of the Dashboard and play games for a certain age or less?

Hi all.

All the things you can restrict are listed here, don't think changing language settings is mentioned.

even if you take the xbox button out of the pad, theres still going to be the actual button on the circuit board which you'll still be able to see and press if the xbox button isnt there.

You could however try and wedge the xbox button in place by putting something under it to stop it from being pressing?

You could trey discipline. When i was a kid if i messed about with something i was told not to i got a kick in the arse.

And if i continued to do it, i got banned from using whatever it was.
