Complain then if they damaged anything by dragging it. I worked for a large dept. store during uni summer holidays a decade ago and they ended up paying for someone to get a kitchen floor re-tiled after the dishwasher installers scraped it all up.

Just pulled up the carpet and left load of polystyrene bits everywhere.
Fortunately I bought an auction lot a while back and it had a carpet puller in it
