talk me out of trading in ps4 for xbox one

Had a go of my mates xbox one on forza horizon and I must say I'm rather impressed so come on talk me out of it I do like games like assassin creed and gta v and rpgs not a huge shooter fan I am getting a bit bored of ps4 at the moment

Why would you want the DRMBox One?

It's underpowered rubbish that can't even achieve the magical 1080p which is the resolution the fun starts at, let alone achieving a stable 60fps even at 900p.

It's a rubbish console that looks like a VCR. It's only going to get worse as well when new games come out, I'll be surprised if it even manages 720p at 30fps for games that come out in a few years.

Stick with the ps4 it's only going to get better and will always have the best graphics that match that of a £3,000 PC. You'll also have the most fun on it, I mean there's a plethora of 8 bit indie games you get for free every month via PS+, they are consistently the best games you can play, I mean who wants to play AAA games when we have all these indies!

So apart from FH2 everything else you mention is on the PS4 will prob run/look better and you have already purchased it. Keep PS4 and buy XB1, is the most sensible option as you will more than likely get a PS4 down the line again. If you wait long enough I think XB1s will be free with 5 packets off cornflakes at the rate they are going (or not)

I used to be all for the ps4 and not at all interested in the xb1 however i think everyone would agree the xbox has the better exclusives this christmas. Next year its a bit hit or miss on both consoles. If your not into Bloodborne, the ps4 wont have much for a while. But that said for me, i cant think of any xb1 exclusives i want outside of the halo collection

Xbox live is a much better, more consistant service. Ps plus has been a huge let down for me lately.

However cross platform games look and perform better on ps4 mostly

Meh swings and roundabouts, go where the games are for you

I sold my PS4 and got a XB1 - best decision I've made.

1080p/60fps is not everything, I rather have an excellent catalogue of games, which the Xbox is getting now.

But still less and of lower quality of the PS4 ? see this for more info http://www.listwar.com/ but if you don't count games that don't come on disk, do not cost millions of $ to make, or not of the genre you like then i could see where you are coming from.

Wow, that's like the ultimate fanboy website.

As an owner of both since launch, I would say the current momentum has swung from clearly the PS4 to the XB1 being current console of choice if you were buying now. XB1 software updates, exclusives and the ****state that is the PSN infrastructure have contributed to this.

Both GTAV and Assassins creed will be better on the PS4. Depends what's more important to you - Forza or them I guess. Comes down to what games you play really.

Personally I wouldn't touch the xbone with yours - Next Gen console not even capable of 1080p is a joke. Sure the PSN network is having teething problems due to workloads but its getting better and personally I've only ever suffered once with an outage, and it only lasted an hour - but from what I hear the xbone network isn't exactly flawless either.

Either way, have fun dude - your choice.

No doubt I will get a ps4 soon, maybe in January sales with my Xmas bonus. But for now I'm more than happy with my xb1

Tbh I wish I had stuck with failbox, psn is rubbish in comparison, no driving games on ps4, lol driveclub, no 3d bluray, no steaming from pc and basically Xbox is gaining

Hmm considering the games he mentioned are going to be on ps4 anyhow, the whole process of selling up, losing money and then rebuying again another system due to a quick go on one game, well his money..

I personally wouldn't do it, I did this last gen with a ps3 to Xbox 360, due to forza 3, got bored of forza 3, didn't like gears of war, halo didn't take me fancy. So had to sell the 360 to fund a 're purchase of a ps3 to play heavy rain, uncharted 2 and God of war 3, said I'd never do that again.. trading consoles is a sure way to throw money away..

Funny my ps4 turns my tv on.. I press the ps button on the controller. And magically the tv turns on as well. Hdmi cec control works wonders nowadays

GTA5 is 1080p/30fps on the xbox1...

And ACU is 900p on the ps4...
