seems to be sweeter in the bathroom, i know not why
It's all the energy the maggots or releasing from the dead pidgeons in the cold water tank that make it so sweet.

Don't you think that water from the bathroom tap tastes better than from the tap in the kitchen?

Neither, I generally prefer mine with orange squash in it 
When I'm drinking water: I hate water in cities and generally the south - it just tastes disgusting and chemical'd.
Nothing beats fresh spring water though - from the spring that is, not Tesco in a bottle.
