The place i got laser hair removal done is primarily a tattoo removal place and i spoke to the nurse about it..apparently the tech is very good these days and the days of just rough fading are gone..they can pretty much get rid of them completely now;.

Great. Got to find a good place then. I know it is expensive though just got 4 tats i want rid of.

certainly wouldnt use vaseline as any petrolium substances withdraws the ink same as scabs

all i do is when i get home take the cling film off give it a little wash with warm soapy water let it dry then recover for the first night, the next morning just apply a thin cover of the tattoo ointment , repeat this around 3 times a day for around a week then the 2nd week apply something like E45 cream just to keep it fed with moisture so it doesnt dry out ...after the 2 weeks hey presto you have a lovely healed tattoo....altho a tattoo does not fully heal until around 40 days later, which by that time the "wound" is 100% healed :)
