Hello all,

My team consisting of approx 10 people have been given the opportunity of a team building activity with a budget of between £35 - £40 a person (however we are willing to top this up ourselves if necessary).

We've pretty much got an open book but one of the team is pregnant and a few others are very unfit and the far side of 50 and as we want everyone involved we are struggling for ideas.

One other team did clay pigeon shooting which appeals to me but we were wondering what activites other companies have done in the past which were great so we can pick from a list.

Cheers,

Fly fishing? any local resevoir would be happy to lend you some kit and a few locals to teach you.

I was going to suggest clay pigeon as anyone can do it and usually first timers are pretty good and leave happy

paint balling is one of the traditional ones but dunno how the preggers lass would do. :p

Also raft building is great but again she's going to have trouble.

Was about to suggest Go Ape, but that's not really going to work with the old crowd and the pregnant lady...

We did Go Ape about 5 years ago, I really enjoyed it but some of the group are not able to do that now for one reason or another.

Fly fishing sounds fun, I'll add it to the list.

A night on the booze is something we could do after the event.

You don't need much kit only a rod, line, flies, sunglasses and a preist so the place should be able to supply all of that and you could probably have a whole day bobbing about if they have boats and maybe evern take a fish or two home.

Wait stop just remembered about 20 of us went here last year and had a good night then on for a curry.

Great laugh and something you won't do often

I sent my bunch on tank paintballing, young uns against the Fogeys, they had a right hoot, and the young uns won the day, and considering the Fogeys had a a proper rally driver x 3 on the team as well! then we had a BBQ afterwards, with free beer. Cost £65 each. 3 tanks.
