Team Fortress 2 Classless update

I find multiple-CP maps to be most fun as you can actually use tactics instead of always running head first into your enemy like on payload.
 
The drops work mathematically as so:
You stand a chance of a drop every 25 mins. At this time you have a 25% chance of getting a drop if you get me. So you guaranteed at least one drop for every 100 mins of uninterrupted game play.
Hats will have a 1.5% drop rate once all of the new hats are out, atm it stands you have a 0.6% chance of getting a hat.

Also, i think it means classless like drunk demo and bigot soldier update.


You also get weapon drops for milestones. Get x amount of achievements for a class (7 for Spy, 10 for Scout) and you get milestone 1 and receive a drop for that class that you don't already have.

Either that or i've had super coincidences 19 times in a row.
 
Yep, achievements still work as before.

Most of the fixes sound good (particularly the Force of Nature fixes) but I don't like the fact that ubered characters can no longer be stunned nor that they fixed the firing rate of the pistol.

Pity they wouldn't make it that crouching heavies would receive little or no knockback from both the compression blast and the Force of Nature.

You aren't guaranteed a drop at any point. Just looked it up, and it's a 1% chance every minute, so on average, you'll get a drop every 100 minutes, but it's not guaranteed. You might get no drops for 2 hours, then get 3 in the next hour. The chance of the hat dropping is 0.5% chance every minute, so half the chance of getting a weapon.

Why take away one of the scout's main advantages? It's not like the scout class is currently overpowered.

Because an uber should be uber, not be invincible to fire/rockets/bullets, but get stunned by a ball.
 
Hope a new video comes out soon, this part of the Spy video still makes me laugh.

This game is awesome all over again for me with these updates. I played it from the beta then got bored till the Medic updates came out, but jumping through all the hoops for the unlocks burnt me out again pretty quickly. Now I have a ton of unlocks to collect whilst just enjoying the game.

If only my PC got better as it got older as well :p
 
My TF2 is broke. :(

Every time I join a server I get disconnected 20 seconds later (box in the top right saying "connection problems" then counts down from 30). It used to only happen with every 4-5 servers I joined but now it happens with all of them. :/
