As title says, is it worth having? just purchised it over steam via paypal.

Just wanted you opinions if its any good. See my yunger brother smashing this game day and night, must be good?

Thanks

It is pretty good and different from the norm of CSS. It actually requires good teamwork to win, which is good and bad cause you can get a team full of crap people who just run in all guns a blazin'.

Haven't played enough of it myself to judge, but it is a good game.

It's a great game, it's less serious than CS:S and you don't see that many clans playing it because it's more of a fun based game than competative. The PC version is the best because you can have up to 32 players and there are loads of custom maps that can make a change from the standard ones.

You bought it then asked if it was worth buying?

Not a serious game, but so addictive. Its strongest point is that you can pick it up for a couple of hours and just play for fun. works well online, plenty of servers and if you get a full server can be quite intense. The ability to switch roles at any point through the game keeps it fresh as well
Love it - even though Im crap.

If you do go online watchout for mansize_tissue - he a crafty b*****d :D

I'v had a quick bash. overall, i thought it's "alright".

I first thought this but you need to give it a little bit longer. It helps to know the strengths and weaknesses of the classes to get the most out of the game.

I can't stop playing it now.

can anyone give me some good rate/ cl_cmdrate etc 'things' i've been experimenting but my connection dies after about a minute of playing. its cause i'm using wireless.. and i cant do anything about that but..but i want to playyy

Are you using a BT HomeHub, Be* BeBox or SpeedTouch based router by any chance?

its a netgear one. what generally happens is i play. get loads of choke and then the internet cuts out for everyone in the house. but even when its just me in the house the internet still dies.

Well it does sound similar to the problem that the speedtouch routers suffer, you join a game, play for about 30 seconds and then get an 'connection problem' message followed by the Internet dropping (or router rebooting in my case). It seems to be caused by the router dropping connections that have timed out which nukes the gaming session.

Here is the info anyway, you might be able to see some settings on your router that you can play with: http://support.steampowered.com/cgi...WFyY2hfdGV4dD1zcGVlZHRvdWNo&p_li=&p_topview=1

I'd try and open up the suiggested UDP ports if possible and see if that makes any difference first. It could also be related to 'intrusion detection' settings because doing something like a server list refresh can look like a DDOS attack to some routers.
