How likely is it I can run the following settings:

DDR4-3200 “maxed” settings: tCL =12, tRCDW/R = 12, tRP = 12, tRAS = 28, tRC = 54, tWR = 12, tWCL = 9, tRFC = 224, tRTP = 8, tRDRDSCL = 2, tWRWRSCL = 2, ProcODT = 60Ω

or

DDR4-3466 “tuned” settings: tCL = 14, tRCDR/W = 14, tRP = 14, tRAS = 28, ProcODT = 60Ω, CR = 1T, GDM = Disabled, BGS = Disabled

According to AMD themselves these are the sweet spots for gaming, of course they didn't say what RAM they used :(

I did not try those exact settings but I think C12 3200 is pretty easy just run 1.45-1.475 Volts.

AMD are not the best at tuning DRAM to be honest I would test many settings myself not rely on what they say. For sure they used B die Samsung IC based dimms which these are. With AMD your better to run frequency over timings as this effects cache speed which is on a 1:1 divider with memory frequency.

Thanks 8Pack, I will test 3200 at CAS12, 3466 @ cas14.

What do you think is the sweet spot? What would you aim for personally?

I haven't done any of this since 2011, still rocking my Sandybridge you see!

I'm a little bewildered, but eager to read a lot before ordering as I want to get this order right.

The only C12 stuff I tried was 3866-4000 on Intel platform with high voltage working fine. like 12-12-12-28 1T very tight subs. Even 12-11-11 C12 is for benching usually with high frequency not 24-7 in my eyes.

tRFC on ryzen at 224... with cl12 and 1T... guarantee that is not properly HCI stable on any kit!

Those tight timings are seriously fast but I can't help think they are not 24/7 stable.

Hey guys, I'm looking at this Ram along with a 1600x and an Asus Prime X370-A.

I want to run cas 14 - noticed the ram doesnt support XMP profile? Will it run at cas 14 @ 3200 on this board? Anyone tried?

Thanks in advance :D

Why would it not support AMDs profile thingy?

If it doesn't I will just set it manually.

I took delivery of my ram, 1700, thiachi, This teamgroup RAM 3200@cas14, EVGA PSU, Samsung EVO 960 M2, Kraken x62 AIO and sexy looking Phantek Evolv Tempered Glass case.

I cannot wait to build it tommorrow/Monday.

I'm travelling back home today, so going to build it this afternoon. I had to travel 3 hours to pick up my cablemod delivery from my parents (and see their new puppy).

Now I just wanna jump in the car!

I tried 1600 and 1700 both can run my sticks with Taichi or Crosshair 6 pretty high 3466-3600 no problem.
Apart from when you failed the HCI test and tried to hide it.

ON AMD boards they are using XMP in the Bios now. Taichi flash to latest bios and let it fly. 3466 so easy...

Stop the bs. Not everybody can hit those speeds. Not without setting the secondary timings so high they become slower than 3200CL14.

You can't but you have no clue.

You type on a keyboard when u should be lifting weights.

Now quickly show me the gavinh range of mems please or indeed anything u ever did??? All I need is one link?? Maybe gain you a spread of credibility.

8Pack three years straight oc world champion. Gavinh who can type on his keyboard lol.

I did. Faster memory than you, and most of all STABLE https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/30944037/

I have no need to lift weights, I don't need to compensate for anything in my life :D
You may indeed have oc records, does that mean you can guarantee anything you have said about ryzen doing 3466 easy? Nope, not at all.

I suppose most importantly, I have not lied to anyone and got caught out by it. You are a fraud.
