Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black

wow very impressed with the bin samsung dims, can you tell me if you have tried it with a gigabyte gaming 5 x370, as on your video you are displaying a k7?

Yeah tried working 3200mhz xmp c14 no issues 2x8gb gaming 5 latest bios.

I did not try further on that board but most end users have fed back 3333c14 is easy and 3466c16 is easy. Above this depends on your cpu Imc and cache oc ability.

Can confirm 3333 @ c14 is as easy as upping the speed and I gave mine a slight bump in volts. Did try 3466 @ c16 but for my chip 3333 is the sweet spot.

Noticed on your video you are running tRC at 107 for 3600. Don't think I've ever seen it that loose. Does that not kill performance? What did you have tRFC at?

I've dropped my B-die g skill 3600c17 to 14-14-14-38-60-356 at 1T to get 3466 going. Don't think it's going to be stable and was about to give up but guess I could loosen some more...

I did not test performance on that speed mate. Just stability. With Ryzen1.html

the boost in cache frequency gives better performance overall even if at the higher frequency you have to loosen some subs for stability.

This review also covers oc on these mems and performance testing. In terms of pure memory I think 3333Mhz or 3466Mhz c14 and c14 or c16 respectively are about right. Twcl equal to cas.

Has anyone tried to remove the top part of the heat-spreaders?

I'm looking for Ryzen compatible RAM that will fit below my Phanteks TC14PE cooler and am struggling find some that is below 40mm in height, the tallest that Phanteks recommend. Having a quick google it seems that you can remove the top part of the heat-spreader by removing the 2 screws at either end on the normal Team group Dark Pro RAM. This should make it able to fit under the cooler while retaining the lower part of the heat spreader.

Can any confirm if it can still be done with this RAM and that it won't make it all fall to bits?

Thanks mate. Gave that a go and ryzen is certainly sensitive to tRC and tRFC. Need to do some benchmarks but I did find it worth loosening those two timings to get 1T stable over 2T with good gains to minimums in 720p tomb raider.

Can you recall what you had tRFC at?

tRFC was different by board. I still have the profiles saved. Which board?? I can check Tuesday.

Gigabyte gaming 5 but know you didn't test that one. Just interested in general level you are at so a couple of examples of any board would be great. Cheers!
