Tech you own vs. Tech you use

  • Mobile - use daily
  • Laptop - use daily
  • iPad - use daily
  • HTPC - use frequently
  • Wii - haven't used in a long time
  • Bluray player - rarely used
  • NAS - used daily
  • TV - used nearly daily
  • Nexus 7 v1 - laggy slow and doesn't really work well so don't use it anymore :(
  • Action cam - use as and when
  • 22" monitor - never used

Should get rid of some stuff really.

I trimmed down a lot of tech I don't use over the past few years and now only have what I use all the time.

Nokia 920 - Daily
Kindle Fire HD - Daily
2008 Macbook - Daily when I'm staying the the GF's or once a week when at home
2011 27" iMac - My work horse, daily during photography high season, as/when otherwise
TV/Home Theatre - Daily
Media PC - Daily in conjunction with the TV/Home Theatre
NAS - Constantly in conjunction with pretty much everything else
Wii - Occasional use when friends are over
Photography equipment - all the time

Before I had an iPad, a Mac Pro, etc etc - sold it all off. Much better now and its really made me think about my purchases more :p

iphone 5s
ipad 4
ipad mini
mbpr 15
ps4
xbox one
canon 700d

i would say my top 3 used are iPhone,macbook,700d the rest are covered in dust :D which will only get worse once i get a gaming pc again:)

I have a PC and a HTC one X, I use them both heavily and they're the only 'gadgets' I own.

I'm very minimalistic though so I only buy/use what I need, hate clutter and mess.

:D

This is GD. Everything is turned into a willy waving contest.

I'm surprised only 5 people with TV's… Plus if I may ask, how can people watch films on a phone? I believe somebody said this… They're so tiny. Head down, sore neck for 2 hours? Wonky feeling eyes after a 2 hour film?

I have cut down dramatically.

PC
PS4
Ipad 4
HTC One
Decent TV.

Thats it, and its all used regularly, stuff like the phone and Ipad are used everyday obviously.

The only Tech that I own but don't use that often is my PS Vita. I keep it though because I have PS+ so I don't have to buy any games for it. The only physical game I ever owned was Uncharted but I sold that when it appeared on PS+

I have 2x Ipads but the older ipad 2 is only really used by my 3.5 year old daughter and is full of kids games. Slightly overkill but equally pointless to sell it just to buy something cheaper and end up with about £30 change.
