Ted Lasso

Thinking some more does anyone else feel Alice is really inconsistent? Like, in episode 1 she's super empathic to the injured girl and really behind the team but now she's a compete arse to them.
She had the same injury three times, it destroyed her career. That's why she reacted the way she did.

Yeah, I got that, but it also seemed like she had a closer relationship with the team in general. She always seemed protective of them before but this episode that didn't seem to be there.

You didn't notice something early in the episode that might have pushed her that way? Yes, it's a bit of a U-turn, but it didn't come out of nowhere. I feel like Ted's 'I'm suspending you' after one small attempt was a bit off. Yes, again, he saysb 'I'm trying something different', but I'm not sure that felt like a Ted move...

Another great episode. Predictable return of Mr. Amsterdam and who didn't see how Roy was finishing that coming. Lol at Jamie too.

Really not liking the Zelda character, annoying as hell.

I figured she was supposed to. I do love the way the show depicts rich people.

Finished up to Ep 8, very poor S4. A couple of laughs, a couple of feel good moments, but it just isn't funny and i don't really care about any of the female team characters.

Nowhere near the level of 1 - 3.

Yep. The show really doesn't do much for me anymore - too much forced expletives just for the sake of it and the aside from the characters we already know the rest are just a mess. Zelda's character is just a cringey mess. The show just doesn't feel as tight as it was in previous seasons.

As much as I love Roy and Keeley, just put them on the back burner - they've had their chance fs. Focus on the team more and their characters/relationships with the coaching staff.

A good final episode, that's coming from someone who is actually glad its all over because overall I thought this was a cringefest of a season overall. Zelda probably one of the worst characters to grace the show since that OTT African guy who tried to get Sam Obisanya to Nigeria. I just think the show lost a ton of charm with it's forced F words uttered by everyone when it used to be mostly reserved for Roy.

I laughed out loud when we learnt the origins of Ted's desk chair issues.

Hmm definitely not as good as seasons 1 to 3. In the initial couple of episodes of S4 I wasn't sure how it would go and then it picked up a bit but think it was episode 4 or 5 where I thought "ok this is starting to feel more like the Ted Lasso I know and love"
Episode 9 really hits you in the feels :( (even parts of tonight's did too)

Enjoyed tonight's final episode and had quite a few funny moments. Was nice to see some familiar faces but season 4 just didnt quite hit as good.
The first 3 seasons felt more focused on the actual team mates rather than just Rebecca etc. Couldnt stand Zelda but then I guess that's the whole point :)

Ultimately I still enjoyed the season. Im glad it did return. Absolutely love Roy :D and Rebecca's character.

Great last episode and I loved the whole season but, like end of the 3rd season, I don't think I want it to continue. Better to go out while it's still good than keep going past the point it's exhausted the good ideas.

100% agree with all of this.

Zelda: panto villain, hope Tracey Ullman is cringing at her performance in this. It was an interesting premise and quite a big build up of someone buying all the shares, but which was resolved in one scene and everyone's bezzie mate again.

Thought the 1st ep was pants > got a little better > the final few episodes were back to standard and enjoyed them.

It was decent. Are they going to make another season?
