After for me, I have yet to fully believe the evidence suggesting doing it before is better.
It might be in terms of erosion, but bigger factors for people are plaque and decay, so I'd say after, dilute those sugars immediately.
After. Toothpaste makes my breakfast taste disgusting, particularly the orange juice.
I can't understand the logic of cleaning them before breakfast if you eat something like cereal. You brush your teeth exposing the surface and then cover them in sugar.
Isnt the reason before is better is because.. if you do it after youve eaten, the acids in your food erode enamel and your helping to erode your enamel... saw it on the one show I think.
For my last job I used to travel around a lot with 2-3 people and stay in hotels..after breakfast I would always go back to my room to brush my teeth before we left, or if running late just take toothbrush/paste with me and do it when I arrive at the client.
Funny, whoever I was working with (team of about 16, changed weekly), I was always the only one that did it..nobody else would ever bother brushing after..which I thought was very very weird..as if I don't then my breath just smells like my breakfast!
