teeth whitening

arnt crest stripes a thing you would use as a measure to ensure your teeth stay white once youve had them whitened?

Nah - again just dabbing on a bit of bleach with some bog roll each night will do the trick... also, as its antibacterial, it will give you similar benefits to mouthwash and help fight gum disease (obviously don't swallow any of it)

People who have their teeth professionally done usually come out with such hideously obviously 'enhanced' teeth that they look stupid. I imagine the over the counter stuff will be gentler and a bit more reserved which should give you a more natural, but whiter, look.

true

actually a good thing about using domestos is that you can start off by just dabbing a diluted amount onto your teeth then build up the concentration until you have the level of whiteness you want.

With this being GD, I can't tell if you're being serious or not.

The chemical that whitens teeth is limited in toothpastes. It's not enough to actually do anything.

I brush my teeth twice a day with a whitening toothpaste (incidentally not that I care about them being white) and while not gleaming simon cowell white they aren't far off white and definitely presentable. Good technique, regular brushing and avoiding nicotine, etc. does work pretty well.

No whitening toothpaste, most of them are extra abrasive to make your Enamel thinner and look whiter.

None of them work anyway. Espically ones sold in the UK. The only way is using whitening kits imported from the States.

Crest 3d Pro or Day white ACP would be my choices.

im not gay! :p just come out of a long term relationship and thought id treat myself. if its anything under £250 ill maybe do it as long as it lasts at least a year

Hi Gary,

No decent teeth whitening will cost under £800. Anything below that is a scammy whitening kit-type.

To put it simply, anything that requires you (or by the "dentist") to apply a cream over your teeth, or some kind of overnight teeth protector of sorts, is going to cause you sensitive teeth forever and/or fracture them. The only way to get proper white teeth is through veneers, which is super expensive and a big decision.

Just do the normal toothbrush and floshing, as well as frequent hygeine visits (find a good hygeinist, most of them can't be arsed to do a good job). That should make a massive improvement.

Ignore this advice at your peril!

I had no idea teeth whitening was such a big deal.

I've got tobacco stains that only become visible due to my teeth being straightened by braces. No amount of brushing is making a difference. Any suggestions other than getting used to them?
