Tefal ActiFry Deep Fryer?

In the early days they used to regularly suffer fan failures. On this forum that would seem like nothing special, but in the ActiFry's case, it caused it to catch fire just about instantly.

Hopefully they've long since found the design fault and fixed it though.

Or you could make a healthy chicken tikka masala.

I dont quite get it though, why is she using that when she could just fry some onions and
cook the chicken using a normal pan and hob, am I missing something?

Looks like if I didn't have a hob I would buy on of these.

Very true. For that kind of dish, it's a similar amount of oil than you would use when doing it manually on the hob.

Doesn't make much sense.

It's purchase justification I reckon.

"Now that I've spent £122 on this thing, let's think of all the uses I can get out of it to make it feel like better value." :p

I have had one since April 2008 (it blow up 11 months laters) got a replacement from Tefal (new 12 months Warranty).

If you try and cook to many chips (4 people) they go all bitty and broken up. But if its for 1 or 2 its fine.

You can also use frozen chips and I think they cook a lot better.

I think the design needs to be changed a bit.

But I love the chips.

I use Olive Oil or Rice barn oil.
