**Tekken Tag Tournament 2**

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 free DLC arrives next month

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a great game in its own right but one of the things that makes it special is the way that publisher Namco Bandai is handling future DLC for this title. A number of extra characters and stages will be released for free in the weeks ahead, providing players with a great reason to hang on to their copies of the game.

Namco Bandai will release free DLC for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 from October 9th onwards, with the first batch of content including new fighters Dr. Bosconovitch, Slim Bob, Miharu, Sebastian, Violet and Unknown. Players will also be able to access four new stages set in exotic locales such as Russia, Chile and Saudi Arabia.

Yeah it's not a bad game it just is a little too fast paced for me. My perfect fighting game would be where all the moves are easy to pull off and it's just a case of using them tactically in the right situations to beat your opponent. Oh and loads of characters 'cause you have to have loads of characters!

As it stands though trying to guess if a character is going to say punch high or punch low seems impossible to predict as you have less than a second to see it nevermind react. :)

try Virtual fighter games

got this on 360 in the post, might come today. quite looking forward to it.

Great to hear =) We need more players from on here!

Regarding Kazuya's EWGF, is this actually considered a difficult move to do consistently or am I just being an idiot? I spent 2 hours straight working on this last night and I still can't do it at will, I look at streams and see guys doing it 2 or 3 times in a row to pressure people..makes me sad -_- I could do this fairly often in SFxT but I was cheating and using a shortcut input that doesn't work in TTT2, I should've known better I guess.

Yeah it's not easy, you need to hit the button on the same frame as you hit the df, everyone drops it occasionally, the best Mishima players tend to get it about 90% of the time after years of playing.

good game from what iv played so far. Lilly and Baek are my fav combo so far.
Only going to play casual since im not overly amazing at Tekken and DOA comes out soon which I can actually play to a high standard and im questing to get that A rank in DOA for once (narrowly missed out on it for DOA4)

I have DoA5 on preorder aswell =) It was only last year I got a 360 for my birthday so I have been missing out on the DoA franchise, the last I played was DoA2 on PS2. I'll probably approach DoA5 like you're approaching TTT2, just casually. I have AE2012, UMvC3 and now TTT2 to worry about competitively, my hands are full!

For god fists, the two pieces of advice I've been given are:

"Jus do it mad fast innit"
and
"Aim to hit 2 when you're hitting down"

While obviously it doesn't make sense to literally press down+2, it does help to think of the command that way as you go to df so fast, you're actually pressing 2 at the right time. Once I had that down slowly, my consistency increased when I just started trying it as fast as possible, I found I was actually getting it more often.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnLC_hxzcms&feature=player_detailpage#t=104s Stuff like this though... I'll learn to walk first.

I haven't heard the first piece of advice before, not many peeps in Ireland talk like that =) I had read about hitting 2 on the down input though, it does help but I would hardly call my execution on these consistent. I can do it about 25% of the time now, that's after a weekend of seriously grinding aswell I must have played this for about 20 hours over the weekend. I guess after 2 centuries of playing various SF and MK games where you are taught to hit the attack button after the input this was always going to be a pain, I'll keep at it though thank you Zid.

That vid you posted makes me sad =( there's another guy called F Chiba he's a japanese player he runs Kazuya/Heihachi and his EWGFs are right on point aswell, a lot of these guys have been playing Tekken for years though.

just got the new update, some cool new characters - slim bob is amazing! ditching Baek in favour of him , going to start playing a bit more of this as it is a very good game if you can find 2 chars you can get on with (which is easier said than done)

plus it seems tekken ball is on its way back...

Anyone got any suggestions for partening up with slim bob? Im new to the game, doing okayish online. I've been using bob and slim bob lol would like to find my second team mate.

Lily (10 hit combo - insta win) , Zafina (hard to read, needs setup but punishing if given the chance), Anna (pretty good all rounded i find)

Though im a beast with S.Bob and in comparison utter cack with the others!

Still loving this, play it each weekend - disappointed that more people arent into it.

I haven't been playing this (or any game for that matter) much recently as I've been quite busy but I still love TTT2, I actually took 1st place at a local tournament about 2 weeks ago with Kazuya & Feng. Most people I know gave up on it because they thought it looked easy to play but when they started they realized it's an extremely technical game, I'd have to agree it is the most difficult fighting game I have had to pick up.

I don't know how much I'll keep playing in the new year though, I really enjoy the game but nobody else around my area plays it very much. It's just easier to play AE2012 or Marvel because there's a lot more local players interested in those games, mainly because they're easier I suppose.

Anybody still playing this on PS3? I've taken to playing online battles and the standard most of the time is rubbish, I'm no pro or anything, far from it, but there are people who don't even block. :p
