Telekinesis

Bend one of my spoons in my house without touching it and I shall believe you.

I have recently had this strange feeling that when something is out of my reach it will pop straight into my hand, a natural feeling... But it hasn't happened as of yet.

Anyone practise any form of telekinesis?

I'm not to sure on the "moving things with your mind", but I do believe you can do strange things.

I bought a huge book on this which had exercises and things to practise. I myself thought it was all a load of bull until I actually managed to be able to perform things in chapter 8.

Chapter 8 is about object deformation. Goes into how every object has a certain energy flowing through it, and you use this energy to change the shape of it.

Now I know it's not very exciting and I'm sure some of you can do it, but the first thing I learnt was how to bend spoons (no I don't mean physically bending them with strength ;P) it's hard to explain without going into great detail but you can actually feel some sort of force running through the object (its always in one direction) and the way you get the spoon to bend is to force the energy the other way. No force is required at all, you don't even need to do uri gellars famous trick ;) you can just run your fingers along it and still get it to bend, just as long as you send what feels like a magnectic force the other way it's flowing.

Hoping to buy a video camera soon and I will kinda show you what I mean.

I know most will again think it's a load of rubish (like I did) but it's kind of got me hooked and I am now starting to look at the other posibilities of what can be achieved.

Does anyone else have any experiance with this, or anything they would like to share?

I know it's possible because I can do it. There's no doubt that it's possible to move things with your mind.

Then i'm sure you gents won't mind getting a webcam/video recorder etc and recording some proof for us, right? Ahh let me guess... you don't have a video cam or it's broken, and will be for the forseeable future... ;)

Superb.

I particularly liked some of the comments posted on youtube regarding this:

Everybody knows mental and psychic powers can be blocked by static electricity. Especially from little pieces of foam paper and lights. Foam and lights are a kung fu masters only formidable nemesis especially when he wants to use a telephone book.

i second that.
i am a kung fu master with super powers, but when light and styrofoam are present, they nullify my abilities.

This thread continues to provide much comedy value.

Some people truely believe that they have telekinetic powers and I can only feel sorry for them. Some though, are unscrupulous and just want to make a quick buck - they perform tricks (like the guy in the video) and fool the gullible into believing that they have the power of telekinesis. These people should be shot.

What I particularly find amusing are the excuses these people with "special powers" come up with when their powers dont seem to be functioning anymore.

As for the OP claiming he can bend spoons without any physical force: I would absolutely love to see the OP performing this trick. In fact, I would pay to see it. Of course, I would have to provide the spoon.

Simmz, whereabouts are you located - I am tempted to pay for your train ticket down to London to perform this. I would certainly be very impressed if you managed to perform it in my house. In fact, I shall invite other members of OCUK down as well, to witness this feat. Should be fun.

Of course, if it turns out that once you get to my house that your powers mysteriously dessert you, then payment shall not be forthcoming.

“Pottsey i'm not sure what it says about you that after months at this forum you still can't manage to either use the quotes feature, or even present a simple link in readable format. “
Why is it after 7+years of posting here people only recently got bothered by my posting style and only on this forum not the others? Nothings changed in 7+ years so why now all of a sudden do so many people dislike it and why only this forum? Not sure what that says about people who complain around here ;)

So much of the human brain seems to unused, makes you wonder what it's all for. I'd estimate I've only ever used a few percent of mine at the most.. ;)

Myth - ALL of your brain is used, just not at the same time.

Spoon bending vid

and this

Nina Kulagina mind powers

The first video was just ridiculous. Ive seen Uri Gellar do better than that fakester. There are points in the video where he is blatantly putting undue amounts of pressure on the spoon (just like Uri Gellar).

The 2nd video is a lot more interesting. Obviously it is possible that she could be using some system of magnets. Its interesting that she always needs a table, under which it is possible to set up an array of magnets under.

I believe that telekinesis (by a human) is impossible.

Also, Pottsey, are you using different accounts? Just how many usernames do you have? If you have been posting here for 7yrs, why have you not learnt to use the quotes and linking systems. Something isnt right. My suspicion is that Pottsey is using telekinesis to type out his messages and it is difficult for him to use the tools on this board. This would explain everything.

:p

Yes my first account got wiped during the large forum wipe age’s ago. I stopped posting for a while then started again.

I find posts easier to read with the bold tag, years ago I put up a vote here and most people said they prefer the bold tags even a few months back some people told me to continue. That and I have been posting like this for well over 10 years on various forums it’s habit and just as easy to use after all this time as the quote button. Where every that thing is.

Only this 1 forums and only in the past 1 and a bit years have people complained.

Trying to get back on topic

“I dislike people who believe in Telekinesis almost as much as i dislike people who believe in ghosts.“
Why do you dislike people who believe in ghosts? When someone experience’s something along the lines of ghosts that they cannot explain it seems harsh to dislike them as they think ghosts are most logical answer.

Some of us have experienced things where ghost are the only answer that makes sense so far.

Otherwise it would overheat. We have enough problems with heat as it is. It's one of the key reasons our brains aren't bigger (along with pelvis size restricting brain size at birth and weight).
