I thought I'd start a thread about things that maybe you know about the world or its history, but most people don't. You having 6 toes isn't something I'm after here though so try and keep with it!

Did you know that despite the accident at Chernobyl in 1986 in which reactor 4 suffered a meltdown, power was still being generated from the other reactors up until its decomissioning in December 2000.
 
In Super Mario Bros on the NES, the graphics for the bushes and clouds are the same, with different colors
 
From my recent visit to New York (awesome BTW) I discovered that the Statue of Liberty is made from sheets of copper (about two pennies thick) riveted together over a steel frame and its green due to the colour copper goes when it reacts to the sea air. Also the torch can move 5 inches in any direction depending on what way the winds blowing.
 
There are 8 sheep for every person in New Zealand. It used to be above 20 sheep but there are fewer of them now.
 
Horses can't vomit. Hence a problem when they eat something they shouldn't or get something stuck in their throat.
 
Our planet is not a perfect sphere. It is an oblate spheroid which means it bulges in the middle. This is due to the rotation of the planet.
