Temps rocket when "shaders" loading?

Hey guys, I have had a few issue regarding temps while the game shaders are loading in..

My idle and gaming temps are very acceptable, but for those couple of minutes when shaders are being implemented, my fans go crazy and the temps hit 83-85c during this time.

Is this normal and OK to leave as it is?? I dialled in my fans in the BIOS to be quiet but ramp right up under higher load.

Shaders will hammer all the cores available whilst being built so it's to be expected that temps will ramp up.

thanks Glanza, one quick question mate, I just done an undervolt on my CPU via BIOS..

when I went to save changes and exit, it says nothing changed??? so i exited anyways, let it boot into Windows, restarted and went into BIOS and the UV was still enabled??

is this normal for that sort of tweaking???

Noticed this the other day on my 5800X3D thought something was wrong as it's usually around 50c.

Shader compilation is trivially parallelisable so will make 100% usage of all your cores, which won't happen while gaming.

is it an MSI board as it does the same for my Tomahawk?

This is normal. My 5800X3D often hits 90C during this process (although mine is particularly power hungry, I lost the silicon lottery).
