When I was a teen, there wasn't such a thing as the internet, I was outside causing mischief, riding around on my bike, or slightly later on, out in the landrover exploring the courtryside as well as getting my fingers into things I probably shouldn't have been.
But it was fun, enjoyable and healthy. Best of all you actually met people.
Like a lot of you I guess, many many hours are spent behind the keyboard whiling away the hours chatting to "chums" in forums and sifting through other interesting sights on the net while life passes you by.
Something niggles me about this.
What would you be doing right now if there was no internet.
Does it suck you in to the point of wishing you could just delete everything and walk away..
Don't get me wrong, I've learnt more through the power of the net than I ever did at school or college could have ever taught me, but sometimes just wish it wasn't there at all.
It would be interesting to know how many relationships have broken up because of having your eyes glued to the monitor too much.
How many times have you heard "can't you leave that thing alone tonight and come and talk to me?"
anyway... rambling now.
