I've only just started using Temu and quite impressed, everything I've ordered has come withing 5 days and of course quite cheap compared to Amazon etc.

I've always ordered off the website but the APP is a PITA with constant free gifts etc.
Has anybody here actually claimed these free gifts?
eg It asked me to choose 6 items that totaled about £247 but then asked me to choose an item/items totaling over £20 and those free gifts would be mine.
Has anybody done this with any success?
Or if you have was there any comeback?

The one I had like that gave me one of the free gifts once I had spent over a certain amount, I just bin off the "offers" now.

Don't use the site myself, but it's all probably the same stuff you'd buy from Amazon or ebay but at half the price.
As for free gifts, nope. Take a look on YouTube, most of the videos are calling it a scam, the other half are giving you their affiliate code. This will be an interesting watch for you.

I've bought several bits off there since I've started using it a couple of months back, always seem to be decent enough quality and a very competitive price.

I had a tent arrive for camping in the summer recently so will be interesting to know what the quality is like once up. From a quick peak it looks good and the user reviews with photos appear positive.

Never used the deals that pop up, I think they give you higher priced versions of items that you may have looked at or in your basket.

The offers I always get are 3 items for 1p each. But to get the 3 items I have to place 3 orders of 15 quid or more and then claim it each time. It's a faff and not worth it.
I did buy a lot of creality 3d printer parts that were a fraction of the price compared to UK prices. It has it's uses.

Use the Web and you get none of that.

I use it all the time due to how cheap it is and the quick delivery. Depends what you want from it. My mrs always laughs when the package comes because apart from the shear amount of plastic I'm chucking away, I usually chuck away 30% or so of the stuff I order as it is what it is = cheap crap but I feel if you order a pair of night vision binoculars and they are same price as 4 pints of beer in the local then you deserve what you get. Returns are easy too as they generally just offer you 80% refund and for you to keep the item without any fuss. Or put it in the bin.

I only order via the web but a lot of the emails and stuff I get from them about big discounts etc are for US accounts only so seldom bother. I don't like the look of the app so haven't used it either. Its great for little bits and bobs for my bikes, camping gear and stuff for the garage. The fake lego stuff they have is brilliant too and so cheap. Wouldn't bother with anything you need to use a lot of, like good tools or something that may wear out or you need to rely on (although I did get a pair of 5w UHF radios for outback 4WDing that I am yet to use  ) but for other stuff its difficult to fault.

I've used it for a few cheap bits, usually stuff that might only be worth pennies each but I need a lot of them (for example some button type things to magnetise as tokens for models), LED's, and various other odds and ends.

I wouldn't buy anything mains powered from them etc for obvious reasons ;)

I buy all my Junk from there. Just close every offer you get its 99% BS. Occasionally they gift you something cheap for free for real

AliExpress is like Harrods compared to Temu.

Started using them a few months back, not really due to price per se but the ability to order odds and ends, especially for DIY and repairs. E.g., i needed a replacement silicone shower head nipple but couldn't find anything anywhere that i could buy in person or could even deliver, or delivery would be £15 and no idea if it would fit. So ordered several packs from Temu to ensure i got the right size and 1 of them was an exact match. You just can't do that with Amazon or eBay.

The app has to be avoided

Temu stuff comes fast

The biggest problem is everything on Temu looks much bigger than the item actually is

I just realise why I never use Temu, the stuff I want are not on there, like currently I am looking for a specific, Chinese Made, set of coffee scales that I previously bought on Aliexpress. Similarly looking for a specific Numpad. Neither are on Temu.

All this 'cut out the middle man' and buy cheap direct from China, cheapness over quality, safety and local economy etc.

You're all okay with that?
