Slightly OT but the Crimson Idol album by WASP is one of my all time favorite albums, yet everyone seems to slate it.

RoB- The Crimson Idol is definitely WASP's best IMHO - Bob Kulick on guitar is superb throughout and the songs have real meaning.

Sir, you have fine taste :D

metallica - one
pantera - walk
megadeth - blackmail the universe
killswitch engage - life to lifeless
soulfly - prophecy
sepultura - mind war
slayer - raining blood
american head charge - loyalty
system of a down - toxicity
iron maiden - powerslave

no particular order, and so many more to chose they're just off top of my head

I've never really heard much of WASP's other stuff so don't know about it being their best, but it's one of those albums that I put on but can't turn off until it's finished, it sucks you in.

1: Eric Clapton - Layla
2: Dire Straits - Money for Nothing
3: Bullet for my Valentine - 4 Words (I relate to it, dont ask)
4: Led Zeppelin - Dazed and Confused
5: Dire Straits - Telegraph Road
6: Iron Maiden - The Trooper
7: Motorhead - Ace of spades
8: Iron Maiden - Aces high
9: Pantera - Cowboys from hell
10: Dragonforce - Fury of the Storm

I think it is because all the songs tend to lead into one another. There are som many good tracks on that album - I am One, Hold on to my Heart and Arena of Pleasure IMHO right up there with The Idol.

The Headless Children is another superb album, though not a good or thought provoking as the Crimson Idol.
