Tenet (2020) - Christoper Nolan

I didn't really enjoy it, but i stuck with it to the end. They tried to explain it, but i still didn't fully understand it.

Also, it was worth sticking around for the Robert Pattinson scenes - he was very good when the character was introduced.

Starts out good , middle was great and the ending was ...... did they run out of money at the end when making the movie lol everything look cheap at the end part
Yes just looked like a flim set in an abandoned quarry. Happy to admit just didnt get it at all.

Seems like Nolans turkey, pretty much liked everything else and found much to admire despite a few reservations here and there.

lasted about 30 min, what utter bilge. didn't help that the sound was through a sock on Netflix, no idea what was going on but i had to crank my amp to double what i normally have it at.

It was the same at the cinema. Almost impossible to hear some of the dialogue. Watched it since at home and had to put subtitles on in order to get the bits I missed before.

wow, really? how did they make such a mess of a sound mix on a film that must've cost a bomb? i thought it was just Netflix being stupid for some reason. sometimes on discs i'll get a big difference between Dolby surround and that PCM thing but it's the first thing i've watched on Netflix that was radically different to everyhting else.

It's Nolan, just look at Dark Knight Rises and Bane

After the trailers they had to ADR Banes lines because nobody could understand him and it some lines were still quite difficult to understand.

Yep, it was terrible in the cinema. I saw Oppenheimer on Saturday & although not as bad, it still had parts where you needed to lip-read as the dialogue was drowned out

I've watched it a few times now and despite it's faults (some muffled sound, generic quarry battle) I really like it still, obviously in the lower tier of Nolans movies with the likes of TDKR/Dunkirk.

It's not remotely as complex as a lot of people make out, it's just told in a manner that makes it seem needlessly complicated.

I'm the same. I actually enjoy Tenet. If there's no one in the house and I put it on, I'll just crank the sound so I can hear :)

By comparison, I didn't think much of Dunkirk.
