It is never good when a political decision ruins a sports event.

Nole should sue the Australian government for violating his human rights.
And even he is 9 time defending champion of the tournament.

What a bunch of stupid idiots.
I was just about to ask where you were. Being the 9 time champion doesn't make him above the law.

Even if we believe his positive covid test, he broke the law in Serbia by breaking isolation rules, lied on his VISA application and still doesn't meet the requirements for an exemption to enter Australia.

These "laws" are illegal and violating the human rights, and should be overturn by the courts worldwide, in the first place.
The green pass doesn't help people with anything. Because it is not a proof that the said person can't spread viruses, or that they are healthy.

Violating human rights? Crikey, who knew ignoring the rules to enter a foreign country was now a human rights breach. The sheer entitlement.

He is a human rights violation himself. The dude lied and was willing to put other peoples' lives at risk - he put more effort into being a lesser human being than just following procedure.

I love that you still support him; definitely 2 peas in a pod...embracing long term lung damage together.

Not there, but here
He'll win again, probably on a technicality. He won't be kicked out. He should be mind you.
Whether his agent filled out the form or not, he was likely asked at immigration if he had been anywhere else and would likely have lied or if not asked, surely they asked if all the information on the immigration form is correct.

Sounds like Djokovic's lawyers are arguing Hawke only cancelled the VISA due to concerns he would incite anti-vax sentiment, if Djokovic was allowed to stay, and the reason given for the second cancellation is different to the first. Two attempts at finding a get out.

Interesting developments.

Australia has agreed to delay deportation. Laywers for the government agree to allow a hearing on Sunday.

Looks like my post before about "its not like they are going to have a hearing on the weekend" hasn't aged well ;)

I didn’t realise being a Class A knob with an unrivalled sense of entitlement was a human right.
