Terminator 5

I do like Christian Bale, but I do find that he plays a variation on the same intense, unlikeable character in a lot of his films.
I'm not saying he isn't a good actor by any means though.
 
There is a lot of scope for a completely different story arc thanks to the time travel element. They could set it in more than one time zone which has not been done yet. Show another t800 or 1000 going back in time to kill someone else or something like that. If they set it in the future then then it would be nice if it was not low budget crap and if they didn't cheat by jumping too far ahead and showing only desert scene, would be cool to see a city being overrun by the machines and all the resistance against it. But considering they made salvation that kind of limits story possibilities a bit because they can't realy base the story in the time line before that without using time travel.

Lies, there has only ever been two Terminator films! What are these others you speak of? :confused:

Arnie is that role, don't think it will matter about his age TBH.

Haven't seen it yet but what was his acting like in In Expendables 2? I know it's never oscar worthy but was it classic Arnie?

Having watched it recently, I thought Arnie was a bit lame in T2... Doesn't even kill anyone :o

T1000 is absolutely bad-ass. Terrifying!
 
Terminator two is my favorite film of all time the first was epic too.
T3 was Complete and utter s**** i don't know what the hell they were thinking.
I actually enjoyed salvation and the film being set after judgement day. Christian Bale was 10x better as John Conner than that ass from t3 imo.
 
T1 - A dark full on blood and guts action moive, such a classic, loved it.
T2 - Great work with the T-1000, made it a great action film.
T3 - This movie was a total car wreck, poor acting and arwful storyline, destroying the Terminator brand for $$$$
T4 - Trying to rebuild its reputation after a very poor T3, was a refreshing change not having Arnie as a main character.
T5 - Doesn't sound good :(
 
It really is such a shame that we have passed the time of epic films with him, Stallone etc. i.e. pretty much all of Arnold's films, true lies, running man, commando, T1, T2, red heat, predator, total recall etc. etc. then for stallone you have Rambo, Rocky, cobra etc.

My all time favourite films! :D

The new ones coming out i.e. the last man standing, expendables etc. aren't even in the same league!

Obviously Rocky is the winner out of the lot, followed by Demolition man. Both Sly and Arnie were great in there time, but today it is just cringe worthy lol. (there new films btw)

Expendables 2 ending made me cringe... They should try take up more serious/realistic roles and not the hard man role. Just doesn't suit them anymore. Sly can actually act when he tries aswell. Arnie just gets worse with age.
