The 2 hour finale next week COULD be good, the potential is certainly there now. Then again, given how this show never leaves its comfort zone, I think it very unlikely :rolleyes:

I started to watch this last week. Not bad overall, just light entertainment. Not too fussed about the lack of dinosaurs. The individual stories are good and the larger main story, although taking its time to evolve, has promise. At first when we found out about the carvings at the water falls and then the Sixers I immediately thought of Lost. The numbers and the others

Fairly pleased with it to be honest. Not the best show out there nor it it the worst.

Great ep, looking to be a great action packed finale (2 hours too!)

Quite liking this now. The problem of the week filler seems to have passed for now.

Its made by the same people isnt it as lost? i had the same reaction when i watched the first few episodes

Nice ending to a decent season but yea too much filler at the start - picked up nicely later on though

Wouldn't mind a second season even if it's 10 episodes long!

Let's not get too carried away. It wasn't a 'great' final episode by any true measure, it was simply better than the rest of the season.

To a degree I agree with the above but then again we did get to see actual deaths and a genuinely interesting plot. To be honest, both of those caught me by surprise.

George is right. I burst out laughing when the writers came up with the idea of leaving Lucas, the most dangerous man on the planet, with Sky! More laughter ensued when Taylor just had his 'I love you son, give me a hug' moment - again with the most manipulative man on the planet! Then Sky shoots him in a far from convincing manner. Finally - the defensive line at the portal. This show reminds me a lot of my TouchPad - not bad at all but I would feel violated if I paid £500 for it......the most expensive TV show made!
