Terrible iPhone 3G O2 signal on train.

UPDATE: Made the return trip today, and signal was brilliant. Had pretty much full mobile signal until I got to St. Austell, and I had 3G/EDGE throughout most of the trip.

I was sat right next to the window so this may have helped quite abit.

More likely it's just the random nature of o2's 3G network in particular and data network in general, I'm getting really quite tired of it. Quite random about when it works and doesn't (standing in london bridge waiting for my train this evening and just plain not working). I used to work the whole way to Bristol on my vodafone 3g when I needed to, not impressed with o2's network at all.
