Terrible speeds on Entanet

here's my connection tonight on a 24MB line with Titan ADSL

£25pm for 25GB hard cap = not good.

In our first month with ADSL24 (and not worrying too much about bandwidth) we've used 60GB+. All for £19...

I agree Zen is far superior in terms of speed & reliability (probably the best in the country), but even their top end £35/50GB package would not be enough!

I escaped from adsl24 yesterday and migrated to Be there

Enta , 9.7M down : 1M up

Be , 16M down :1.3M up

Happy chappy am I , downloading some stuff last night at ludicrous speeds 1.5Megabytes per sec

Speeds are much better tonight (this morning even..)

btw anyone noticed harsh transfer rates? apparantly ive used 100gb this month and used a constant 7mb for 2 hours of video streaming i mean enta deny this but wtf how is that possible?

for 10 mins it transferred 526mb i dont even know is that ****lbe on a 8mb connection when ur max is 7.1?

worth double/triple checking whats running on your network, seen a few posts about this recently, some pointing to new software or similar being put into place thats not working right but company deny its working wrong.

atm ive installed net meter to watch it they have me down at watching video for 2 hrs at a constant 7mb i mean apart from iplayer what could i possibly stream thats that demanding? i surf a bit of streaming pron ye but jesus 7mb constant!

also i just checked youtube when i first visit its fine no real network usage but if i stream a video then hit back the usage keeps going on the idle page

about 1mb per sec just sitting on youtube!!

and my network should be secure with only 1 port open for torrents which i never use anyways and umm no wireless or anyone else in my house as i live alone with big bolted doors ^^
