We'd lose trial by jury for starters, if you had your way. It is one of the tenets of Western civilisation and you want to just give it up.

He is under investigation for suspicion of making those images of child abuse and for possessing them.

He and his brother were also arrested but released for spitting at the welsh Guards outside their barracks and saying "I hope you die in Iraq".

Apparently they are now claiming that they were attacked by the welsh guards.

They also still have not explained the £30,000 in cash found in thier house.

If it was a Westerner trying to blow up an Arab plane then they would be shot right then and there

IIRC There has been talk for a long time of giving up trial by jury because its a waste of time. Why give uneducated, inexperienced people the right to pass scentance?

Regardless, nobody is saying anything of the sort. There is a far cry between shooting a man in the face for trying to kill women and children and saying nobody can have trial by jury.

Got inside knowledge dirtydog eh? The public doesn't get told when they get an operation right, or a terrorist plot is foiled. Its like Firemen, house burns down and they were inefficient. Someone dies and its the doctors fault, terrorist operation succeeds and the police are incompetent morons. I'm fed up of hearing people slating those that put themself on the line to try to help this country. Yes, they made one freaking mistake but how many operations have they stopped that you don't know about?!! More than you imagine. Everyone makes mistakes, and obviously when it is someone's life on the line judgement is more critical. Mistakes are made, but feel free to jump on the bandwagon and get on their back. Yes, its not an easy job, and it never will be whilst dillusional idiots insist on trying to kill themself to prove their point - seems slightly irrational to me- but they are doing their best. You aren't the only person who mocks their "intelligence", but they're doing the best job they can. It has gotten to the stage where its ******* me off that everyone decides the police are useless. Personally i'd love it if they just stopped working, the terrorists and criminals would have an absolute fieldday. Maybe everyone would reaslise then, surrounded by riots, murders, explosions etc that the police are actually doing a semi-decent job.

Im saying that there are some parts of the Arab world that i do like and some parts about there system that does work.
Same as the western world.
The western world has gone to soft though.

Back when the British owned colonies around the world im sure you wouldnt find as much crap like this happening from there own people because if they got caught they would be removed from society.
Combine the Old Justice system with the new and you get your self a pretty good one

I don't need inside knowledge to know about the times they got it wrong, because it's been all over the media

You on the other hand must be privy to some special inside knowledge, in order to know that they have had many successes...
