Tesco petrol (Pay At Pump)

It's exactly the same as how it works with the pay at the pump's at my local Asda. Takes a £1 transaction out first (although I think it may be a dummy transaction as it actually doesn't appear on your statement at all) and then the rest of the money will leave your account and appear on your bank statement within 2 workings days.

Its a good job its not in Motors a few people would be outraged telling you that you should not be driving if you cant afford to fill up every time. Its usually by those that live with mummy but thats for another thread.

I'd hazard a guess that OP's wife was also in a car that isn't a BMW and was on 'ditchfinders'. And Tesco petrol would have been the icing on the cake.:)

Why did you steal my sig and put a border round it?

I cropped the same image by chance (notice it is different and I added blurring to the Ferrari's). I will change it so I don't get mixed up with a noob though.

Thats convenient how its similar size, cropped in the exact same way, from the same image, it looks blurry cause you just upscaled it a bit and added a border.

On another note, I find it intensely irritating that a lot of 'pay at the pumps' limit you to £70. £70 doesn't fill my tank! I have falled out with a couple of petrol stations because when it comes up with 'begin filling, maximum fill £70' I just put the pump back down and press the 'pay at kiosk' button. They don't like that.

Usually my max is £100, are you sure that isn't a card issue?

(the £22.92p is £9.90p for another transaction, £2 for Tesco Home Delivery to verify the card, £1 I guess is to verify the card for the petrol).

Sorry to do this, but it's annoying me: You don't use both the £ and p signs, it's either one or the other.

sometimes I put £10 in at service station / over-priced stations when I really need some to get home but dont want to pay for a tank full at +5p/l more than normal.

Why do people only put £10 in?

Well I only put no more than £20 in at a time unless I'm going on a long journey. Why you ask? because where I live the local thieves will drain your tank overnight if they know you fill up every time to go to the fuel station.
