If they were going to go with a futuristic design I'd have rather seen something vaguely along the lines of the Judge Dredd taxis https://www.caradvice.com.au/771524/design-review-judge-dredd-and-the-land-rover-city-cab-1995/ maybe with a bit of Halo buggy mixed in there.
This just looks like someone ran out of inspiration after the first bit and just drew 5 more lines with a ruler and said that will do.

I love the look of it, it's so nice to see someone taking a risk and actually doing something different as so many cars look near identical now.
I do think it may have issues with the EU but they are offering pre-orders on the uk website so hopefully! Teslas are some of the safest cars on the road currently so no reason to believe the truck will be any different.

Find it odd that you can reserve the truck but not the Model Y?

From reservations they are figuring out if they can sell it.
they know they willl have no problems with Y as it’s similar to the 3

Still a bit weird, since the reservation deposit for the truck is only £100, totally refundable, and based on no firm sale price. A lot of the reservations will be 'just in cases' and journalists/industry etc as a way of being front of the queue for info.

Reservations numbers is just to stabilise the stock market. I can see this just ending as vapour product for PR. The roadster mk2 is similar. IMO
